Cynthia A. Jampole, P.E.

Principal/CEO

Cindy is Principal and CEO of Trans Associates and is responsible for the overall management of the firm. Cindy is widely recognized in the Pittsburgh region as a leader in the field of transportation engineering, specializing in transportation planning and parking. Her expertise is sought after for the performance of Transportation Impact Studies (TIS) and parking/loading studies as required by the City of Pittsburgh for Institutional Master Plan and private development approvals.

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio. She is a fellow of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), and her professional affiliations include the Pennsylvania Parking Association (PPA), the University of Pittsburgh Civil Engineering Alumni Club (Past President), and the Engineers Society of Western Pennsylvania (ESWP).

Terry Olesniewicz manages the transportation design efforts for the firm and also serves as project manager for roadway design. His experience includes design, project management and scheduling, plans preparation, cost estimates and construction consultation. Terry is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He holds a PE license in PA and FL. Bob Goetz  has dedicated his career to assisting public and private clients with transportation engineering services, providing expert analysis and transportation solutions. His project portfolio is a diverse mix of traffic studies, transportation planning, land use and municipal projects. Bob has also managed a number of “on-call” service contracts for PennDOT. Bob is a graduate of Penn State with a degree in Transportation Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in PA and WV. Nick Schaefer’s experience includes managing numerous PennDOT, NJDOT and NYDOT contract work orders as well as various aspects of traffic and transportation engineering for municipal and private clients in Central PA. Nick is a graduate of Penn State with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is licensed in PA, NJ and NY. Cliff Eich manages traffic design for the firm which includes traffic signal and systems design, streetscape design, traffic control plans, detours and pavement marking and signing plans. Cliff is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is licensed in PA.
