Assisting municipalities with Traffic Impact Fee Programs
Trans Associates is experienced with guiding our municipal clients in the development of transportation capital improvement plans. We perform the requisite studies to prepare a transportation capital improvements plan as part of enacting a transportation impact fee ordinance. Impact fees from the ordinance apply to new development and redevelopment within the proposed tax increment financing (TIF) district. These impact fees create a funding source to implement future transportation improvements.
Trans Associates regularly serves in an oversight and review capacity for municipal clients. A key component of our municipal service is the review of engineering studies, plans and recommendations as submitted by other engineering firms. This oversight helps to protect the municipality’s interest and advocate for their residents. Public meeting attendance is part of our service.
